Floored ("we") respects copyright and responds to notices of alleged infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512). We will expeditiously remove or disable access to material that is the subject of a valid notice, and we terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

What Floored hosts

Floored does not host music or full videos. A "routine" stores pose data (motion, not video) and, where a creator has linked their own post, a reference (embed) to a video hosted by TikTok or YouTube; that platform serves the video and its music. Notices about a linked video's content may also be sent to the hosting platform.

Submitting a notice

To be valid under §512(c)(3), your notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
  3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it (e.g., the Floored routine link, floored.me/r/<code>).
  4. Your contact information (address, telephone, email).
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Incomplete notices may not be actionable. A knowing material misrepresentation may incur liability under §512(f).

Counter-notification

If your material was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the agent above including: your signature; identification of the removed material and its prior location; a statement under penalty of perjury of a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your name, address, phone, consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if outside the U.S., any district where Floored may be found), and that you will accept service from the complainant. If we receive a valid counter-notice and the complainant does not file suit within 10–14 business days, we may restore the material.

Repeat infringers

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
